The services currently offered by AMBES fall into three Categories. These are:

Domestic Subcontractor and Main (or Principal) Contractor

Labour-Only Supplier
Safety Critical Supplier

Domestic subcontracts (and Main Contracts) - Examples of recently awarded works include Platform improvements, Scour prevention and walkway improvements to railway viaducts and preventative maintenance to masonry tunnels.

“Labour-Only” services are specific to the supply of skilled Tradesmen and semi-skilled Workers to undertake a variety of different tasks as determined by the hiring organisation.

These services include the following:

Joiners

Bricklayers

Electricians

Steel fixers

Painters

Ground workers (e.g. Drainage and Roadworks squads Concrete Gangs)

General Labourers

We also offer a range of personnel with “Safety Critical Competencies” for hire by Contractors undertaking works on behalf of Network Rail.

These competencies include:

PTS General Labourers
PTS Ground workers
PTS Tradesmen (e.g. Joiners, Bricklayers, Steel fixers, Electricians, etc)
Controller of Site Safety (i.e. COSS)
Machine Controller/Crane Controller (i.e. MC/CC)
Engineering Supervisor (i.e. ES)

We employ professional personnel with the necessary skills that allow us to offer the following services for hire to Client Organisations (e.g. Network Rail) or other Main Contractors on a call of basis:

Project Management
Construction Management
Design Management and Coordination
Contractor’s Responsible Engineer
Contractor’s Engineering Manager

This service will be tailored to suit the bespoke needs of the Client base and advertised on this basis.
